Location
In the La Tejera nature site, located on the crossroads between the Cañamares to Poyatos road and the forest road to Tragacete and Las Majadas. You should take the CUV-9031, which links the CM-210 (from Cañamares) with the CM-2105 (from Tragacete).
The campsite is located in the very heart of the Cuencan mountains in an area emblematic of Cuencan geography, the Escabas River Gorge, with a multitude of nature sites where you can take part in activities such as hill walking, abseiling, canyoning or bathing in the pools formed by the rivers and streams.
It has a restaurant where you can enjoy typical dishes such as morteruelo (traditional pork stew), zarajos (smoked meats), gazpacho pastor (traditional cold soup), locally butchered meat, house menu, or paella cooked over a wood fire.
The plots for tents are arranged on terraces, that permits a certain level of isolation from the other guests. Many plots have electricity supplied. There are also bicycles for hire.
