The owners of this Country House Lodge have carried out a restoration of an old farm house with elegance and good taste in every detail: wrought iron lamps, linen curtains... The rooms are in what was formerly the barn and stables, around a porticoed patio.
The restaurant makes up an important part of the business, with a menu that combines Manchegan tradition with cutting-edge cuisine.
Between Almagro, old capital of Campo de Calatrava and the Valle de Alcudia natural park, is “La Posada de Calatrava” (the Calatrava Inn). This accommodation is surrounded by very interesting tourist sites such as the Peña Escrita cave paintings, the fortress that houses the sacred Calatrava la Nueva convent-castle and a great number of craters and volcanic features that we can see as we pass along the attractive Don Quixote Route.
