This 13th Century castle has kept its Arab influence and its unrivalled rooms recreate the most romantic legends. It is erected on a hill governing a fertile section of the River Júcar. Its monumentality can be seen when viewing the Torre del Homenaje (Homage Tower), its turrets and the inside of the building.

At its restaurant, one may taste cuisine from Cuenca with suckling lamb roast and morteruelo (hot meat paté), as well as the area’s famous desserts: the Alarcón and Alajú Suspiros.
