Corpus Christi

The Corpus Christi in Toledo, declared of International Tourist Interest, is the imperial city’s most important festival, and one of the oldest. It is a solemn religious procession, presided over by Spain’s leading cardinal. The historic streets of Toledo are specially decorated for this brilliant procession, in which particular attention should be paid to the Custodia and the remarkable cortege that accompany it, made up of different brotherhoods and orders.
