The building was probably originally the residence of some local nobleman, and later transformed into an inn. The architecture is a curious Gothic-Mudejar-Renaissance mix, from the end of the first third of the 16th century.

Built of adobe and plaster with wooden coffered ceilings, it only uses stone for the doorway of semicircular arches with a wide voussoir, and the columns in the patio.

It consists of a square floor plan around a patio with tall pillars on the ground floor, supporting an wooden system of straight arches in the upper gallery.

One of the most interesting aspects of the work is the great variety of gothic arches; mixtilinear, canopial and low arches give onto the different wooden ceilinged living rooms.

This has been restored and currently houses the Albacete Tourist Information Office.
