Almansa Castle

Standing spectacularly above the city skyline, Almansa Castle is one of the best-preserved castles in Albacete province.
It is a fortress built in the 14th century for the Infante don Juan Manuel, possibly over pre-existing fortifications. Interesting and beautiful gothic stonework is preserved in the interior.
