Peñarroya Castle
Peñarroya Castle, is situated in Argamasilla de Alba, next to the reservoir that bears the same name. It is a Medieval fortress that predates the 13th century. Within the fort is the Virgen de Peñarroya Sanctuary and Hermitage, with an interesting Churrigueresque altar.
