Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes

The Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes, in Toledo, is one of the most spectacular works of Gothic architecture in Spain. Located in the Jewish Quarter, its building was ordered by the Catholic Kings to commemorate the Battle of Toro, with a view to it being the site of their future burial.
