Museum of Spanish Abstract Art, Cuenca

Cuenca Contemporary Art Museum

This museum is located in the Hanging Houses in the town of Cuenca, in a Medieval building from the end of the 15th Century. The Spanish Contemporary Art Museum in Cuenca has a permanent exhibition of paintings and sculptures by Spanish artists of the abstract generation of the 50 s and 60 s (Millares, Tápies, Sempere, Torner, Rueda, Zóbel, Saura, among dozens of names), as well as other artists from the 80s and 90s.

The museum, located in the "Casa de Hortelano" Palace in Albacete s town centre, is devoted to collecting materials covering the history of an art belonging to the region and its city: knives and swords.
