The Municipal Knife Making Museum, open since 2004, has become a reference point for tourists in the city of Albacete. On of its attractions is the programme of temporary exhibitions, both inside the Museum, outside (in other exhibition halls in the city), as well as travelling exhibitions.

This museum has two distinct areas: the first offers an Historical Collection showing the evolution of the art of knife making over the centuries, and another offers the best pieces produced by the industry in Albacete in the last century, under the auspices of the Association on Knife Makers and Sharpeners of Albacete.

It is also notable that the Albacete Knife Making Museum was the first in Spain to install an audio guide service using PDAs (personal digital assistants), available in four languages from reception, using Wifi technology.
