The Museum of Ciudad Real Province
The Provincial Museum of Ciudad Real is situated in a building built according to designs by Carlos Luca de Tena y Alvear, inaugurated in 1982, and houses the Archaeological, Fine Arts and Natural Sciences collections, as well as some temporary exhibitions.

Created in 1976, all the monumental archaeological discoveries from the province, from the Lower- and Middle-Palaeolithic, Neolithic, Calcolithic, Bronze Age, Iberian Era, Roman Era and middle ages, are collected at the Ciudad Real Provincial Museum.
In the Fine Arts Section, temporary exhibitions are organised and a good collection of 19th and 20th century paintings is kept, with works by Gregorio Prieto, Guijarro, López García, Ángel Andrade and Carlos Vázquez, among others, as well as a display of more recent paintings and new tendencies.
Don Eduardo Tello, Don Estanislao Oliver and Don Ramón de la Torre’s special collections are also displayed.
