Bodega Los Aljibes
In 1999 the Lorenzo family acquired an estate named Finca Los Aljibes, but the bodega or winery was not completed until 2002. It is located in Chinchilla de Montearagón in the Province of Albacete and the idea behind it is to create highly expressive wines. Functional and modern, the bodega is equipped with the latest technology whilst being housed in an architectural setting of great cultural value.

The vineyard has been planted on two properties: one in Pozo Cañada known as La Rambla de San Pedro where the oldest vines are to be found, and another in Chinchilla known as Los Aljibes which lies at an altitude of about 900 metres. All in all, the estate has a total of 800 hectares of land, of which 250 are used for vines, 50 for olive trees, some 200 are scrubland and the rest is used for cereals. The overall plans of the owners do not therefore just centre around wine-growing, but also include the production of a high-quality and original olive oil, the breeding, breaking-in and showing of Spanish thoroughbred horses as well as other leisure activities.
With this in mind, the Lorenzo family has included a fine area in the bodega with rooms for wine-tastings and work meetings as well as a wine-tasting room fully equipped for use by professionals.
