Bodegas y Viñedos Castiblanque
The foundations of an old 19th-century bodega (winery) provide the base on which the Castiblanque family has built its wine-growing project in Campo de Criptana. The family has been able to combine careful restoration work, which has preserved the old stone walls, Arabic roof tiles and pinewood from inside the old building, with the latest technological advances to produce excellent-quality wines.

An open space in which tradition, familiarity and craftsmanship merge with the most up-to-date wine-growing technology, turning the old bodega into a place of learning and meeting for wine-lovers.
This unique initiative has required an investment of over two million euros and is made complete by 120 hectares of vineyard where the Garnacha, Tempranillo, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot grape varieties are grown to make red wines, along with Airén, Macabeo, Chardonnay and small Moscatel grapes for white wines.
In addition, the bodega or winery has a spectacular wine-tasting room in a workshop once used to repair barrels. With an area of 180m2, the room is perfect for learning about the culture and the world of wine. The ageing and crianza cellar has room for 800 oak barrels and 150,000 bottles.
