Dehesa del Carrizal
It has been 23 years since the doctor and businessman Marcial Gómez Sequeira purchased an estate called Dehesa del Carrizal in Retuerta del Bullaque in the middle of the Montes de Toledo mountain range. In 1987 he planted his first vineyard, thereby writing the first page of a big wine-growing project.

On the northern side by the vineyard a functional three-section building cuts into the ground, creating a well ventilated underground ageing cellar with no ramps or service lifts.
The modern bodega or winery has the ability to produce 250,000 kilograms of grapes, and an air-conditioned ageing section for over 1,000 barrels. In front, at the end of the production area is a wonderful Toledo-style brick building which blends in perfectly with the land and contains a dining room, wine-tasting room, laboratory and offices. The construction of a fully air-conditioned warehouse for ageing in the bottle has recently been completed.
Its excellent location allows for 4x4 outings or walks and hikes in the surroundings of Retuerta del Bullaque, or a visit to the Cabañeros National Park.
