Bodegas Arrayán
In 1999, a well-known businessman, José María Entrecanales, decided to undertake a wine-growing project at the heart of this estate in Santa Cruz del Retamar, in the Province of Toledo. To do this, he had the help of an Australian, Richard Smart, and an oenologist, Miguel Ángel de Gregorio.

It is an ambitious project which has materialised in a vineyard based on innovative wine-growing techniques which blend perfectly with the ecosystem of the Mediterranean estate from which high-quality wines with intense personality are obtained.
For decades the owners of the La Verdosa estate have maintained an intense loving relationship with vineyards and wine and this has led them to participate in a number of wine-making projects in various regions of Spain.
The bodega’s first harvest was marketed at the end of 2003, and the unique wines obtained attracted great attention. Among these was Arrayán Premium which was awarded over 90 points in various wine guides.
