Bodegas Peces-Barba
The 650-hectare El Retamar estate is located in Orgaz at the end of the valley of the Sierra de El Castañar mountain chain in the Montes de Toledo. It is a full agricultural and livestock farm which also produces wine and for fifty years has belonged to the five brothers of the Peces-Barba family.

The bodega or winery is accommodated in a typical La Mancha-style house with whitewashed courtyards and blue eaves. In addition to the production of wines, the owners have expanded their range of services to wine tourism and offer guided tours of their bodega and vineyards, where visitors can see the fermentation and ageing systems and take a journey through the whole wine-growing process. Wine-tastings led by experts are held in a friendly atmosphere in the top room of the tower, enabling participants to appreciate the different characteristics found in wines throughout the maturing and ageing process. It is also possible to have lunch in the restaurant which has room for 50 diners and to hold open-air events in the garden. For horse-lovers, the bodega organises horse shows with a wonderful herd of Spanish thoroughbreds. They have also designed two circuits for paintball, team-building and archery, activities which are aimed at company groups.
