Honey from La Alcarria
Honey is a nutritious product produced by mellifera bees from the nectar of flowers, or from the secretions originating from the live parts of plants or what is found on them, which bees suck, transform and combine with their own specific substances, leaving it stored to mature within the panels of the beehive.

The natural district of La Alcarria produces exquisite honey with a subtle, extraordinary aroma that reminds one of the original flowers and wild plants from where it comes. Honey that bears the symbol of Guarantee of Origin, Honey from La Alcarria has its origin and highest quality assured by the Regulating Council.
Honey from La Alcarria is exclusively floral and its consistency can be fluid, sticky or crystallised. Crystallisation, is the natural change in the physical state of honey, and is the guarantee of its authenticity and is closely related to its botanical origin that, in this case, produces fine crystallisation, with a creamy appearance and which is smooth on the palate.
Honey from La Alcarria has been protected by the Guarantee of Origin since 11 November 1992. In turn it has been registered as a Denomination of Protected Origin (D.O.P.) in accordance with the regulations of the European Commission since 21 June 1996.
