Almansa
The town of Almansa, part of the province of Albacete, is known for its spectacular castle, built on top of the great boulder that crowns the city. Almansa Castle, among the most well-preserved in the province of Albacete, presides over and defines the tangle of alleyways that comprise the old quarter and is considered an Historical Artistic Site. Besides its castle, Almansa is also known for its Moors and Christians Festivals and for the famous Battle of Almansa.
