Villamayor de Calatrava is located in the foothills of the Águila Hill, over the Tirteafuera Valley, which crosses the village. There is a 15th-century bridge with three eyes, with semicircular arches and a slender appearance, and nearby there is another bridge from the 16th century with ten eyes.
On the road to Cabezarados there is a typical courtyard building called Casa el Collado with a small chapel or hermitage.
