Much of the village is circled by a nearly fully preserved wall. It is also home to a castle that includes an Homage Tower, the scenario of many important chapters of history during the Reconquista (Reconquest), which nowadays is a Parador. In the Plaza Mayor, dedicated to the memory of the Infante Don Juan Manuel, one can find the Town Council and San Juan Bautista's Church, which dates back to the 16th century and was built over an ancient Romanesque temple.
