Visiting San Clemente is like travelling in time to the 16th and 17th Centuries, through a heritage awarded the cultural interest title. The village's landscape is spotted with houses with coats of arms with masonry on their façades. It also has a beautiful main square with a Renaissance old public granary, a council building from the 15th Century with an interesting local history library and several convents.
An important festivity taking place in this municipality is the: Medieval Market: On June 12, 2000, the Virgin of Rus was awarded the title of Eternal and Honorary Mayoress of San Clemente. On the same date, the festivity of Rus was declared a Regional Interest Festivity and the concession granted by the Catholic Monarchs, Isabella and Fernando, for a tax-free market was recovered. The market is located nearby the Old Tower and it is held on Pentecost Saturdays and Sundays.
