This is a beautiful mountain village located in the centre of the a valley, surrounded by attractive nature sites and close to the highest summits of the Mountain Range.
Here we find good examples of popular mountain architecture, and a simple and attractive main square. The church with the same traditional style is also interesting. On Km 3 of the Road to Cuenca, over the River Júcar, one can view the Roman Bridge, with a single semicircular arch, with a springing on a moulded impost and barrel vault.
The hotel infrastructure is excellent: this was a pioneer village in the development of tourism in the mountain area. Nearby, we find the source of the River Júcar and the hill of La Mogorrita, where we also reach the source of the River Tajo
