An eminently industrial town which can boast to having the second highest number of inhabitants in the Province of Guadalajara.
A highlight in the town centre is the Renaissance-style Parish Church of San Miguel (Saint Michael) with its beautiful portico.
We must not forget the Chapel of Soledad (Solitude) which is home to a beautiful sculpture of the Virgin of Solitude created by sculptor Juan Pascual Medina in 1769.
All around the town we find typical Neo-Mudejar buildings from the end of the 19th century and beginning of the 20th.
