Cabanillas del Campo is a charming town in the west of Guadalajara. Set in beautiful natural surroundings the town is synonymous with a good quality of life and has enjoyed considerable urban and industrial development, becoming one of the most welcoming and adaptable municipalities in Capiña del Henares. Traditional Festivities:
• Fiestas Mayores (Main Festivities), 4th & 5th May, religious services, dancing, fireworks and fire crackers and football
• San Blas (Saint Blaise), 3rd February, the so-called “Rosca del Santo” (Saint’s doughnut) is typical of the festivity
• Palm Sunday, when the “Pastel del Domingo de Ramos” (Palm Sunday Cake) is eaten, there is a procession to the chapel
