Cabanillas del Campo
Cabanillas del Campo is a charming town in the west of Guadalajara. Set in beautiful natural surroundings the town is synonymous with a good quality of life and has enjoyed considerable urban and industrial development, becoming one of the most welcoming and adaptable municipalities in Capiña del Henares. Cabanillas is also the village with the highest birth rate and the highest average number of children per couple in Europe.

Art and Monuments:
• 16th-century Parish Church of San Pedro (Saint Peter), typical Campiña architecture
Traditional Festivities:
• Fiestas Mayores (Main Festivities), 4th & 5th May, religious services, dancing, fireworks and fire crackers and football
• San Blas (Saint Blaise), 3rd February, the so-called “Rosca del Santo” (Saint’s doughnut) is typical of the festivity
• Palm Sunday, when the “Pastel del Domingo de Ramos” (Palm Sunday Cake) is eaten, there is a procession to the chapel
