A small village which is linked by a local road to Majaelrayo and other hamlets of considerable interest because of their “black architecture”, a name which comes from the buildings made of slabs of the typical slate found in the area.
The houses have an entrance hall, a ground floor where people live, a yard, and an upper floor used as a hayloft. They also have enormous chimneys.
The parish church was also built using slate slabs, together with limestone for the tower.
The natural landscapes and local scenery around the village invite visitors to take part in various activities related to nature.
