Cantalojas
A municipality in the province of Guadalajara, in the Lands of Ayllón.
The village is distinguished for its mountainous landscapes.
The hamlet of Villacadima is in the area of this municipality.

Location
The village is located 130km away from Guadalajara. To get there, take the N-I and then the N-110 to Riaza and Ayllón. Once there, take the C-114 road towards Atienza. The detour must then be taken at Galve de Sorbe, and this road leads to Cantalojas.

This small municipality is surrounded by a beautiful nature site with a wealth of botany and fauna.
Within its urban area we find the parochial church which was entirely refurbished in the 17th century.
The remains of its castle are of historical importance.
Within this municipality, we find the famous Hayedo de Tejera Negra Nature Reserve, the most southern beech grove in Europe.
In Villacadima we can admire the Romanic-style parochial church which was awarded the declaration of national monument. Its front is notable.
