The Castle of Santiuste, built by Mr Juan Ruiz de Molina in 1434, is among the highlights. This huge palace with towers was refurbished by its owners. In 1981 the Casutillas Roman Archaeology Site was discovered. This site has yielded terra sigilata ceramics, a round-based group of rooms and a larger room with a well-preserved mosaic flooring, dating from the era of Augustus and Tiber.
Its municipal area is part of the Alto Tajo Nature Reserve, and upgrading environmental work has been carried out on the area of the Dehesa. By the River Gallo one of the most beautiful landscapes in the province is found: the Barranco de la Hoz, (Ravine Narrow Pass), a gorge dug by the river, with startling rock formations, such as the Tinaja, huso, or Cobertera (the bowl, the spindle and the covert). In the environs we find pine trees and poplars.

- In the area’s surroundings we find: Ventosa an area where we find the sanctuary of the Virgen of "la Hoz”. The building was first erected in the 12th century, and the current building dates from the 15th century. A festival of cultural interest, called “la Loa” (the worshipping), is held on Pentecost Sunday. A medieval religious play with dances with sticks, spades and chain dance is performed. Places of interest for their landscapes are Lebrancón and Cuevas Labradas.
In Terraza, the church has a Romanic structure, the rest is refurbished.
The church of the Teroleja is a Romanic church, decorated with modillions.
