Its parochial church is of Romanesque origin, but the only part of it left that preserves its original style is the south wall, with its 13th century corbels, and a covered balcony porticoed with semi-circular arches that stretches out toward the West. All the rest of it is from the 16th century. Of particular note are the interesting ribbed vaults, the tower and the Montúfars’ Chapel (from the 17th century).
Some big noble mansions remain, such as restored Renaissance-style Palace of the Mendozas, a good example of Plateresque civil architecture from the middle of the 16th century. In the outskirts we can find a well-preserved old abandoned glass factory that reflects the boom of the 18th and 19th centuries.
In Nuestra Señora de los Enebrales’s Shrine romerías (processions) of great importance are held each year.
