Illescas

To speak of Illescas is to speak of a blossoming town in Toledo, partly due to its close proximity to Madrid. The town is also famous for El Greco and the Virgen de la Caridad (Virgin of Charity).
Our visit to Illescas takes us to the exceptional artistic heritage which is the bequest of one of the greatest painters in History. Five unique paintings are kept at the Sanctuary of the Virgen de la Caridad, an image crowned canonical Queen and whose advocacy and miracles awaken the faith of both locals and foreigners. We invite you to discover all this and more in Illescas.
