La Iglesuela

Location
Reaching La Iglesuela is very easy, thanks to its proximity to the A-5 Highway between Madrid and Extremadura. Take the CM-5100 road at Exit 115 towards Cervera de los Montes. Once you reach Marrupe, continue along the CM-5054 road to La Iglesuela.

With scarcely 500 inhabitants, La Iglesuela is the ideal location to switch off and rest, a place where you can enjoy nature and where you can also savour the local speciality: suckling pig. You will enjoy a deserved rest in its rural accommodation establishments, far away from busy cities. Enjoy its nature sites, with abundant fresh air and a beautiful natural environment in the areas along the course of the River Tiétar, an effluent of the River Tajo.
The site known as ”El Egido” is an immense field and, on sunny days, you will find a great number of locals, called ”chamarileros” and tourists basking in the sun. Here, people enjoy the calm surroundings; they play sports or simply devote their time to rest.
