Malpica de Tajo
Malpica de Tajo is a beautiful village in the province of Toledo. It is located between Talavera de la Reina and the City of Toledo, at just 50km's distance from the latter. Its population has reached 1,800 inhabitants and here we can enjoy sights such as the magnificent Castle on the banks of the River Tajo.

Location
Reaching Malpica de Tajo is very easy. From Madrid take the A-5 Extremadura Highway, take the detour at Exit 86 towards Otero and Malpica. From this point, take the CM-4015 road to this village in Toledo.

The Malpica de Tajo Castle is the most distinguishable monument in the municipality, although Malpica has other interesting monuments, such as the Parish Church of San Pedro Apóstol, the ”Quinto de Tamujas Bajas” and the San Sebastián Hermitage. In the surrounding areas there are beautiful sites such as those enveloping the River Tajo basin.
The most important festivities in Malpica de Tajo are the festivities of: San Sebastián on January 20 and ”Nuestra Señora de las Nieves” on August 5.
