Marjaliza
Marjaliza is a small town in the province of Toledo, situated in the southeast area, in the Toledo Mountains, a county renowned for its natural environs, nearby the towns of Los Yébenes, Orgaz and Sonseca. With its 400 inhabitants, Marjaliza welcomes visitors with its peaceful, quiet streets and its beautiful landscapes.

Access Marjaliza from Toledo covering just 50km, taking the CM-401 road and then the CM-4017 road at the exit to Los Yébenes.

In Marjaliza, you can discover the Santa Quiteria Hermitage or the San Juan Bautista Parish Church. Its festivities are held in May, to honour Saint Quiteria. In June, festivities are held to honour San Juan Bautista (Saint John the Baptist).
Marjaliza is surrounded by beautiful nature sites and natural corners, with the nearby Toledo Mountains being its most relevant feature. One of the main crops is the olive, and here olive oil of excellent quality is produced and bottled with the Montes de Toledo Denomination of Origin Label.
Marjaliza is an exceptional starting point to get to know these lands and you can use the village as a base to organise trips to other nearby municipalities with an important historical heritage such as Orgaz and Consuegra and their castles. Other nearby towns and villages are: Los Yébenes, Urda and Sonseca, where excellent quality marzipan is on sale and where one can also purchase leather goods.
