Sources reckon that this is one of the most ancient villages in the province of Toledo, as its origin can be traced back to Iberian and Celtic times.
In the village centre, we can highlight: the Inmaculada Concepción Parish Church from the 15th century and the San Antón Hermitage.
In its Plaza Mayor (Main Square) we can see a fine example of a Boar that dates back to Iberian times, and its natural surroundings are the perfect place for all manner of activities related to nature.
Situated on the road from the Toledo Mountains to the City of Three Cultures, Totanés offers you the chance to enjoy an excellent gastronomy based on game dishes, and to make short trips to enormously beautiful nature sites and cities such as Toledo.
