The Restaurante Nuestro Bar is a typical slice of La Mancha located in Albacete with more than 30 years of experience that have earned it recognition on numerous occasions, including the Golden Plate Award for Spanish Gastronomy and First Place in the Third Restauranting Competition (Concurso de Restauración) of Castilla-La Mancha held by the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha in 1999, being the Best Restaurant of Albacete, Officially Recommended for the Enjoyment of Castilla-La Mancha Dishes, Wines and Desserts. It has also been awarded the Q-Mark for Tourism Quality by the Spanish Tourism Quality Institute.

Location

It is five minutes from the city centre, close to the most interesting spots and easy to get to via the Alicante-Valencia, Murcia and Madrid Motorways.

Timetables: Open 1.30 pm to 5 pm and 9 pm to 12 midnight.

Closing days: Sunday nights and the month of July.

Its delicious food is based on the purest La Mancha traditions, prepared with first-class products, and is full of nuances with the sweetness of its desserts and the charm of its staff.

The house invites you to enjoy the Menú Cosicas, which includes a variety of typical La Mancha-style dishes, or, if you prefer, to choose from among the dishes offered in its menus table d'hôte or á la carte from a wide variety of traditional dishes, meat, fish and more.

Among its specialties with La Mancha flavour: Atascaburras (Pickled Cod with Garlic Potatoes and Walnuts), Pisto Manchego (La Mancha-style Ratatouille), Migas (Fried Breadcrumbs), Mojete (La Mancha-style Salad), Gachas (Porridge), Fried Cheese and Lomo de Orza (Marinated Pork Loin). Especially delicious meat dishes include Pork Shoulders and Cutlets, Cochinillo (roasted suckling pig), Red Partridge or Pheasant; while some outstanding fish dishes are Cod Loins, Hake Cheeks, Sea Bass, Gilt-Head Bream, Hake and Salmon. In its wine-cellar, among a wide variety of wines on offer, there are a good number of wines from La Mancha and Valdepeñas with Denomination of Origin.
